So Lisa gets hit on the head and is transported to a magical land where she has to stop an evil guy from taking over. Can the townsfolk warm Lisa's heart to stop him and show her that toys are fun and grand 'n stuff?

Sigh, it was just a lame holiday Oz-wannabe with some bad musical numbers. Oh well.

Sliders

I remember when this show first came out and I was psyched for the idea. This was something that everyone has thought about; "what if things had happened this way...?"

Nearly an infinite number of storylines, but I think they started to get stale after the first 2 seasons, which is why it gets an 8/10.

Still a lot of fun, and very clever.

C'mon, who wouldn't want this job?

They are trying out myths you want to know the answer to by doing things you've always wanted to try. They gang has a great dynamic, and different views on how they should try things out, who's idea are you going to go with?

But they are the experts, don't try this at home.

I'm sorry to say, this is not a kids show. But it is pretty funny.

I think I caught an episode by accident, and had a few laughs. It's very macabre, and one of the few cartoons that I wouldn't let my kids watch if I had any.

It's dark and pretty disgusting at times, and I think it might freak out some kids, but I get some laughs and can see that it does come out pretty clever. And at other times it's just ridiculous.

They do touch on things that we all dislike, like the clown episode (which is where the subject title comes from). Parallels movies, comics and current events that kids wouldn't get, which is why I like it.

Brain blast!

This is one of the few cgi shows that has stood the test of time. I like the gadgets and little adventures that Jimmy and his bizarre friends have. The cgi has definitely gotten better over the years, and while I see it doesn't have the highest rating on here, it's okay, it's one of my fav cartoons to watch when I can.

Simple, yet effective.

Definitely my favorite cooking show. Why? Because Alton gives us the science and facts behind many things, and I'm a sucker for useless (sometimes it's useless) information.

He's got some great recipes, and adds some education in there so you know why you are doing what you're doing. Very practical too. Try out his pickle recipe.

Scenes from a hat

I like this better than the British version. While the UK one was good, I tended to miss some of the jokes due to regional differences, and they are a few years older.

I've watched some of the repeats (which are on every night) several times, and it's still funny. A very talented group of comedians, because we all know that improv is really tough. Silly, and a lot of fun, plus I love it when Drew laughs at Colin.

Oh man, you have to see the episode where Richard Simmons was the guest...

Who lives in a pineapple under the sea?!

Ahh, Spongebob...

This is a show that I have had to defend myself for watching a few times. Akin to Animaniacs, kids like the slapstick, silliness, and colors, but many of the jokes are for an older audience. Think about it, it's a show created by and written up by people in their 30's and 40's, who do you think the jokes are going to be geared towards?

Spongebob is an absolute good, innocent and golden hearted, how can you not like him and his little adventures? I think one of my favorites is the Krusty Krab training video.

I think there are actually many closet fans of this show who secretly flip to Nickelodeon to watch it when no one's around...

Helloooooooo, nurse!

This show was on when I was primarily in high school, yet I watched it all the time. I put it in the category of cartoons that was for adults young and old due to some of the topics, jokes and satire they used. There were many times that I would watch this and think; "there is no way a kid would get this!". And that was part of the appeal.

Fabulous voice acting, amazing songs put together that were silly and educational, and clever humor all around. Now I just have to get it on DVD...

The show was originally going to be about 3 ducks named Yakki, Smakki and Wakki...

Is the snack bar still open?

This show was one that appeared and disappeared several times and then would pop up on a random channel and I'd get excited to watch it. It could be compared as a precursor to Family Guy, you have a totally random thing happen that makes you laugh, and it immediately cuts to the next scene. Another show where the humor is lost on some people.

Jay (voiced by Jon Lovitz) is a movie critic that reviews movies (which are usually parodies on real movies and events). He's kind of a loser and people play on that all the time, but it's funny and there's always a happy ending.

One of the best parts was Jay's crazy father; "I bet you're wandering why I have this banana in my ear. It's to get the monkey out of my head!"

Sweet.
