Posted : 9 months, 2 weeks ago at Jan 1 20:26 - As the old thread is more or less dead and full of clutter, I decided to bring you this shiny new one. :) I decided to start compiling lists of significant book series' (in size), and this is the place to list them along with other interesting lists such as awards which were included in the old thread. Also, I was thinking of starting bibliography lists of some authors works so that the chronology can be seen for their books, even if they are non-series.Series The Adventures of Captain Alatriste Aliens & Predator The Age of Five Alex Cross Anita Blake - Vampire Hunter A Series of Unfortunate Events The Black Company The Black Magician The Blending Series The Books of Blood Cannongate Myth Series The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant The Dark Tower Discworld Dr. Seuss Dr. Who The Ender's Game series Famous Five The Flashman Papers Forgotten Realms The Grail Quest Harry Potter Hellboy/B.P.R.D. The History of Middle Earth Hunter-Legend The Hyperion Cantos Inspector Rebus Jack Ryan/John Clark Universe Kay Scarpetta Leatherstocking Tales Little Miss series The Lives of the Mayfair Witches The Lord of the Rings (Complete Series) Meredith Gentry Rachel Morgan Mr. Men series Nancy Drew: Original and Simon & Schuster Necroscope Net Force The Nick Stone Missions Op-Centre Power Plays & Splinter Cell The Riftwar Saga The Saga of Darren Shan The Saxon Chronicles Shannara series Sharpe's Adventures The Southern Vampire The Spirit Archives Swallows and Amazons The Sword of Truth Temperance Brennan Tintin Trojan Saga The Vampire Chronicles The Vampire Huntress Legend The Warlord Chronicles The Weather Warden series (2) The Wheel of Time Women of the Otherworld Women's Murder Club Works by author VC Andrews Jane Austen Iain (M) Banks Catherine Cookson novels Charles Dickens Stephen King Novels Dean Koontz T. (Please no manga-only series lists. They are already numbered so that would be pointless. I am willing to consider genre manga lists though.) |

Particularly Voxy, Ipanema and Munky, because they're the ones who voted.I've made a list of the project, The Writings of Henry D. Thoreau, in which everything is eventually planned to be published. All of it. I have the hardbacks and the new paperback ones as well. Does anyone have an idea of what'll happen to this list after Tom changes Books? |

Posted : 6 months ago at Apr 10 23:10 - The Writings of Henry D. Thoreau. The link in my other post would still be relevant if I hadn't entered the wrong title when making the list. Whatever you put at first, that sticks by as the link for all of time. Same thing with item entries you create. |

Posted : 5 months, 2 weeks ago at Apr 26 15:08 - Hi, I'm new so I thought I would contribute my own list to the list:Books by T. M. Moore which include a series of SF/F/Vampire fusion books, four of which will be released at the end of the month; and a nonfiction book on the life and work of Miyamoto Musashi. I realize they are new and not yet "significant", but I feel I must blow my own horn. *Blush* :). |

Posted : 5 months, 2 weeks ago at Apr 27 8:49 - Loeb Classical LibraryA sect of Harvard University Press, the Loeb Classical Library translates and makes relevant classic Greek and Latin texts for antiquity's sake. The number of Loeb volumes to date are about 500. I'm not too far from completion but the list is unfinished nonetheless. EDIT: Your list link is awry, this is the one you meant, T. M. Moore: { http://www.listal.com/list/books-t-m-moore }. It's nice to have authors and others active in media communities on Listal. It brings a level of authenticity to the place and allows for items to be personally represented. Only the creator of an item can provide factual content on their material that isn't quoted from a friend of a friend of a source. |
